   This teapot was a Christmas gift for my 15 year old grandson who loves exotic teas. It’s very stylish and I love that it can be used on a burner. After about 2 weeks of use the strainer separated from the lid. It was backordered on Amazon. My grandson was heartbroken because he really loves the teapot and didn’t want to be without it. So I called the manufacturer, Northwest Glass. I left a message and promptly received a call back from a very nice woman who said that there had been a problem with several irregular lids. She apologized for my inconvenience and said she’d send a replacement lid right away. The lid arrived quickly and the teapot is back in daily service.

   This pot is so easy to use. Just pour in the water, drop in the tea and brew. The strainer is good quality stainless steel and is attached to the lid. So the tea leaves are easily filtered. I also like the idea that it is made in Taiwan and not China.

   This is absolutely the best loose leaf teapot I have and I have a wide selection. Great quality glass, strainer in tea lid is awesome idea! THANK YOU!
