For the garage,
I needed a new towel holder for the garage. This is exactly what I needed. It holds the towels securely, is easy to install, and probably will hold up for years to come.

First, prep the screw holes,
This was the least expensive paper towel holder with Prime Shipping on Amazon, so I tried it. Several comments: First, it comes with practically no instructions to speak of, so you will have to figure out how to install it yourself if you want to do it properly. I tried to screw the screws in under our cabinets and it was extremely difficult. I finally got them in almost all the way, but it’s still a little loose (but still works decent). What I realized afterwards is, if you want the screws to go in smoothly, you should drill guide holes into the cabinet with a thin drill bit. Then, the screws will turn into the wood smoothly and easily. Not being an expert handyman, I didn’t know this ahead of time, and, as I noted, no instructions included! This is a decent paper towel holder for the price. If you install it properly, I think it’s a good deal. One more note: The screws that come with the package are pathetic quality. They actually had what seemed like plastic heads, which disintegrated after a few twists. You might want to have a few extra higher-quality screws on hand just in case. Now for a cold one!

Perfect!,
Upon pulling this paper towel mount out of its packaging I was pretty skeptical. It was plastic-y and seemed very flimsy. I decided to take the plunge and mounted it under my kitchen cabinets and from that point on every one of my insecurities with this product are gone. Buy with confidence, it may look cheap, but it works perfectly!
FYI, I was originally planning on mounting it with adhesive strips, but don’t think you can do this, the underside is not a flat surface.
