   I was searching for “Brown Betty” teapots because they are made in England and tend not to drip when pouring (unlike most teapots made here in the States or in China). However, I started drooling when I saw this red teapot and thought that a little dribble was worth having this color. Even though this pot was made in China, it pours perfectly. My tea stays hot for a very long time (almost 45 minutes) without a cozy over it. The color is vibrant red and it is a very sturdy little 6 cup pot. I’m thinking of getting some more colors, which I can now afford since this one is so inexpensive (Just about 3 of these for the price of one of my Brown Bettys). Don’t worry about buying this…this is one time you get MUCH more than you pay for!

   excellent for brewing enough loose tea for 2-3 people at a time. don’t forget to buy a strainer.

   This jolly red teapot charms me with its sturdy roundness each A.M. Large enough to make tea for a group it makes a colorful statement in my kitchen.
