Love my new teapot, it reminds me of one my grandmother used over a hibachi in Japan when I was a child. It is a little heavy I’m sure for
many people, but I like more than one cup of cha anyway and my wife and
daughter often have a cup w/me, and the price was very good. After my wife (unintentionally) has crippled many clay pots, I look forward to many years of enjoying my chain a teapot without a lid, multiple nicks or a missing handle. I hope it and myself ages (Patina) gracefully together

This tea pot is fantastic, I cannon recommend it highly enough! It has heavy, durable construction so it will last for years to come and it looks amazing (paint job and details are great!). It holds enough tea for about 4 servings making it great for groups or just for one, and since its made of cast-iron it keeps the tea warm for a long time. Form and function combined to make one perfect product (delivery was quick to boot!).

Perfect for steeping loose leaf tea in, February 19, 2010

I’ve had this teapot for almost three years now and I still adore it. It’s heavy duty, durable, and steeps the loose leaf tea perfectly. Be sure to put hot water into the teapot first to “warm it up” then pour out the hot water you just used before adding the loose tea and the boiling water from the stove. Remember, DON’T ACTUALLY PUT THIS ONE ON THE STOVE. Many people make this mistake and that is not how this teapot is designed.
