   This item does what it says – brews a nice pot of loose or bag tea and lets you see when it is done.

   The first time I took it apart for cleaning, I scratched the glass while putting it back in the frame. The glass bowl is very thin.

   An effort to wipe out the inside of the infuser broke the tiny, fragile handle that was tack-welded on.

   This is a pretty pot and functional, but handle it with extreme care when you clean it.

   I love this little pot. I can put the pot, without the mesh basket, in the microwave to heat the water. Then I put in the mesh basket with the loose tea and let it steep. I drink my tea out of a mug so it makes about 2 mugs. I didn’t have an issue cleaning it and I don’t have a dishwasher. I just rinsed it out when I was done and let it dry in my dish drainer. The mesh basket is dense enough for your littlest tea leaves. I bought mine on QVC for less money and it comes in many colors. I would recommend this to any tea lover. Reasonable and functional.

   The reason this brewer is better than the others is the metal basket inside has handles to lift it out much easier than others. The price is right and the product is perfect.
